#6 Lost River Mountain

Lost River Peak, also known as Lost River Mountain, at 12,078 feet above sea level is the sixth highest peak in Idaho and the fifth highest in the Lost River Range. The peak is located in Salmon-Challis National Forest in Custer County.

Total elevation gain: ~4500 feet


Getting there: From Mackay, Idaho, travel north on Highway 93 until you reach Upper Cedar Creek Road (just past Mackay Reservoir). Turn right and head N.E. for several miles until you come to a canal. Cross the canal and immediately turn left. Travel along this section for only 1/10th of a mile and then turn right, heading north. Follow this road to the end.

    Hi, I think your blog might be having browser compatibility issues. When I look at your blog in Chrome, it looks fine but when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping. I just wanted to give you a quick heads up! Other then that, very good blog!
